After my wreck, I did not know what my next steps were so I decided to give Stillman & Friedland a call. I first spoke with Robert and he was very helpful, giving me a run down of the whole claims process. From there, Kathleen worked on getting a settlement for my car through the other parties insurance, since they were at fault. That process was quick and I was able to get a settlement within three weeks. The medical part took a little while longer but that's expected since one usually has a lot of follow up appointments. All in all, since I don't have another wreck or company to compare this process to, I would say this is a very reputable company and every one has your best interest at heart. more...

I was sandwiched in a multi car accident on June 20, 2019 and after getting over the initial shock of having been in an accident other than a fender bender.. I knew it was best to contact an attorney.I looked at reviews of a dozen law offices. I specifically avoided Billboard and TV advertised attorneys. I made two calls, one of which was to Stillman and Friedland. There was no question in who to choose. Someone answered the phone, asked a few questions and in minutes I was talking with Patrick. He asked me a multitude of questions... the first one out of true concern... if I was okay, like a friend would do.He listened and listened. When I was done speaking he shared what his experience was and presented his thoughts. “Let’s get you better, before anything else, let’s make sure you see the right doctors, get the best treatment and heal, after that we can discuss compensation.That approach was not what I expected.... but that’s exactly how he handled my case. Once I received treatment, felt well enough to go back to work and got an all clear from my physicians, he and his staff asked for a little information and did the rest. We accomplished everything to get a settlement only after I was well.I didn’t know what to expect in terms of how long it would take. Very easy to work with, friendly, and efficient! I have a full time job plus many other responsibilities to deal with and little to no time to deal with seeing an attorney but I found them and they said no problem to work with me through email and phone calls which with my schedule worked great! Everyone was very polite when I'd call and I barely had to do anything with my case, they did all work they were able that didn't require my doing, and made sure to keep on top of my claim with as many updates i needed. From consultation through the end of my suit, they have gone above and beyond to fight and get what was deserved. They handled EVERYTHING! And won my case. One day I needed to pick up a prescription from the local pharmacy. I went out to get it. On my way home I was waiting for on coming traffic to pass, so I could turn into my lane. I was only 500 ft from home. From the rear view mirror, I saw a black sports car heading towards me at an excessive rate of speed. I started praying... please look up, please see me. I braced myself and was hit directly from behind. I was bounced around, hit my head on steering wheel and head rest, my shoulder was thrown into the door, and neck torqued and I was left dazed. I just kept thinking I was almost home.A neighbor came out and saw my vehicle and told me, make sure you get a lawyer. I declined the ride to ER by ambulance and I went home because I was so tired, all I wanted to do was get in my own bed.I got up the next morning feeling like a train wreck.
