Mike Friedland has been practicing law for 28 years. He was born in Philadelphia and grew up here in Nashville, TN. His first career was in business, where he developed keen skills in negotiating and conflict resolution. Then, after law school, Mike spent the first five years of his law career in public service where he gained experience trying cases in front of juries and judges. He joined the personal injury law firm of his friend Jay Stillman in 1998, becoming Jay’s law partner in 2002. Mike has successfully recovered millions in damages for his personal injury clients by jury verdict or negotiated settlement. He is empathetic, patient and intelligent. He has a deep knowledge of the law and is the office’s go-to guy for advice on case strategy. His confident, calm approach to situations brings relief from the overwhelming anxiety that plagues many personal injury clients. Away from work, Mike enjoys working out, reading mysteries, watching Tennessee and Philadelphia sports teams, and spending time with his wife.

I really believe in what we do here. A successful case isn’t just a “win,” it’s helping someone put their life back together after a traumatic event. It’s so rewarding to see a client start getting their sense of hope back, and to know that we had our part in it.
