Peter Heil has practiced law for 29 years, and he has been a litigating attorney with Stillman and Friedland since 2008. He has a track record of settling cases for many times their initial offers. Before his law career, Peter spent ten years as a medical researcher at Vanderbilt University. That experience made him adept at reading and understanding medical charts. He is very skilled at explaining a client’s condition to them without using confusing medical jargon, so they understand the impact those details will have on their case. Peter is a great communicator and straightforward with a deep sense of integrity. His honesty and candor with insurance defense attorneys have given him a great reputation, helping settle cases more expeditiously. Mr. Heil limits most of his practice to complex cases. When away from the office, he loves spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and fishing.

Nothing pleases me more than to see an injured person able to put a stressful and tedious situation behind them after a fair settlement or verdict; only then can the injury stop dominating their thoughts and lives, and they can return to enjoying life with their friends and family.
